Tyler Brown Great Exchange Church

Dear Friends,

Nicole and I are overjoyed to be beginning a new journey with Jesus as we answer the call to plant a church on the South-West side of Newark, Delaware, near the historic University of Delaware campus! I first came to Newark in 2009, as a college student. In 2016, I entered vocational campus ministry with InterVarsity at UD. Over the years, God has stirred up in me a longing for revival in Newark and a conviction that we must plant gospel-preaching churches to bridge the gap between the campus and the neighborhood.

God is already at work here in Newark. Even so, our belief is that Newark is in desperate need for a church that will reach the lost, mature witnessing disciples, and send one another to be salt and light in our families, neighborhoods, classrooms, and jobs. Newark is a strategic community that could catalyze mission across our region. I would love to invite you to join the adventure of Great Exchange Church, as we ask God to “send out laborers into his harvest” (Luke 10:2). May God’s Kingdom come in Newark as it is in heaven!
