Robert Carr – Cross-cultural Church Planting Coach, Willow Grove, PA
My ministry focus is church planting because I believe it is the most effective way to evangelize the world. Here in the U.S. I serve as a cross-cultural church planting coach. I personally coach church planters who are reaching Russian Jews, Southeast Asians, and Brazilians and Hispanic peoples. I praise God that I also have weekly opportunities to share the Gospel with immigrants living in N.E. Philadelphia as I teach English as a Second Language. I also serve as a Teaching Elder and Facilities Manager with Northeast Community Church (PCA).
Through the wonders of modern technology I am able to coach and financially support church planters in Kenya and Uganda whom I discipled when I lived there. Then I can follow up with annual visits for training, encouragement and planning.
My wife Lois started a healthcare ministry in Kenya called Kianga Kids. She supports this ministry by selling crafts made by African women in Kenya and Uganda and it is called Kianga Crafts. Visit her KiangaKids/Kianga Crafts Facebook page or website at Kiangakids.com
