Robbie Mills – New City Fellowship Dallas

Our family moved to Texas to serve the large refugee and immigrant population of Northeast Dallas. In October 2019 we launched New City Dallas to be a church where the nations and tribes are unified by the grace of Jesus Christ. Our member families are from Nigeria, Cameroon, South Sudan, Rwanda, DR Congo, South Africa, Iran, and South Korea. Our small church has built trust and relationships with many other communities including Burundi, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and Burma. We believe God was sovereign in bringing these neighbors to Texas, and we believe the youth represent a strategic opportunity to nurture and disciple the next generation of theologians, musicians, pastors, missionaries, Sunday School teachers, disciple-makers, moms and dads.

Looking ahead to 2021, in addition to our general operating costs and Robbie’s salary, we also hope to fund the following:

  • Compensation for our Pastoral Resident, a Rwandan seminary student named Andrew Mwumvaneza
  • Funds to purchase a passenger van to be used for carpooling for Sunday worship, ESL classes, and various ministries
  • Funds to construct a space (wooden deck) for holding outdoor socially-distant Bible studies and gatherings
