Our goal is to plant a Biblically faithful, Acts 2:42 modeled church that will faithfully proclaim the good news of the gospel, disciple believers, contribute to our communities, and intentionally engage the non-churched and de-churched. In Acts 2:42 we learn that the early church functioning at its best had several foundational commitments that the believers were “devoted” to, the apostles teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. As they prioritized and sought to live out these commitments, the church thrived both in depth and in breadth under the blessing of God (Acts 2:48). It is our hope to follow this general scriptural pattern and plant a church that will be a faithful worshipping community, a genuinely welcoming community, and an intentional witnessing community in Scottsdale, AZ. Long term, we desire the Scottsdale church to become a training and sending church itself, instrumental in starting other church plants in the greater Phoenix area in years to come.
