Catalysta Gift – Summer Internships

What:
Hispanic Ministry Summer Internships are a great way to invest in the lives of godly Hispanic men with leadership potential. Our summer internships include relational and educational components plus hands-on ministry experience in a variety of settings.

Through your gifts, last year, we fully funded a summer internship for Santiago Ramirez at Reconcile Church in Miami. Santiago commented “The internship, was a real charge for my heart and mind.  It showed me what pastoral ministry looks like and how one should always care for one’s soul in the middle of ministry.”

Angel Roman’s internship in Orlando was also helped by your gifts. He declared enthusiastically, “The consultations with experienced church planters impacted me deeply. They impressed me with their kindness and encouragement. I also learned how church planting has a sanctifying effect. It drives us to a profound dependence on the Lord for provision and growth.”

Why:
By the year 2050 an estimated 1 in 3 Americans will be Hispanic. Our passion is to start a movement of PCA churches committed to reaching Hispanics with the gospel.

Growth:
In the last eight years we have tripled the number of Hispanic candidates for ministry. This encourages us to expect more. It will take an army of trained Hispanics to reach their generation.
