ABOUT HOPE COMMUNITY CHURCH PCA Cane Bay, the seventh fastest growing community in America, is 45 minutes northwest of Charleston, SC. As companies continue to build and expand facilities in the greater Charleston area, Cane Bay will expand from 4,000 to 10,000 homes (currently 15,000+ people). Although this community has its own schools, medical offices, YMCA, and shopping center, it has only a few churches. Our heart’s desire is for Hope Community Church PCA to launch worship in September 2021 to reach these families with the gospel.
ABOUT BRANDON HAWKES
After receiving his degree from North Carolina State University in Forestry Management, Brandon worked for two years as an RUF Intern at Western Carolina University. He then worked for Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. While completing his MDiv at RTS, he was also working as a Pastoral Intern at East Charlotte Presbyterian Church. He and his wife, Annalee, have a 2 year old daughter and are expecting their second child in November. They now live in the Cane Bay area as Brandon labors with Church Planting Pastor Nathan Francis to lay the groundwork for this new church.
As a Church Planting Assistant, Brandon is responsible to raise 50% of his support for the first three years as the church is established.
