Amos Williams – Hope City Church, Madison, AL

Hello friends,

I am Amos Williams Jr.  I am married to Jessica Williams, and together we have two sons Caleb and Christian.  A few years ago my wife and I started praying and seeking God concerning church planting.  We both sensed that the Lord was calling us to plant a church, but we were not sure when or where.  After years of prayer and preparation, we feel lead to plant a church in Madison, AL.  In July 2022, my family and I will be sent out by The Village Church to plant Hope City Church in south Madison.

There has never been a greater need for church planting in Madison.  It is a fast growing and diverse area.  In my neighborhood alone there are African American, Anglo-American, African, Asian, European, Jewish, Latin American, and Middle Eastern families.  Madison is home to tens of thousands of people, but the rate of population growth is outpacing the number of healthy churches.  There are currently no reformed churches gathering in Madison south of Interstate-565, and there are only five churches in the area which spans more than twenty square miles.  Unfortunately, a few of those churches have declining congregations which underscores the need to plant a healthy biblically sound church.  By supporting our ministry you will be helping us make disciples in a community that desperately needs the gospel.  You will also be helping Hope City Church realize our vision for gospel renewal at the heart of the city of Madison.
