I have been offered a position with the Faculté de théologie évangélique de Montréal (FTE) as an Adjunct in Academic Affairs. This much-needed position will bridge the gap between students and the Dean’s office as I am tasked with following up in matters of academic progress and with overseeing the thesis writing process for graduate-level programs. All positions (staff and faculty) at the FTE are either supported in full or in part by donors and my position is no different. Earlier this year, I was praying that God would make a way for me to be part of the essential work that the FTE is doing and that he would provide partners who would generously give financially to cover my salary. It’s a great joy and privilege for me to ask you to contribute today because it means that God has answered my prayer. I will be working remotely about 20 hours per week, mainly speaking with new and existing students as well as meeting with the academic committee to discuss matters of class schedules and directed study opportunities for students.
I am seeking to raise 30 000$ in Canadian funds to cover my annual salary and payroll source deductions. Please consider becoming a monthly donor of 25$, 50$, 75$, 100$ or 200$. One-time donations are also greatly appreciated.
La Faculté de théologie évangélique de Montréal (FTE) serves an average of 150 students per year by offering two undergraduate programs (Biblical Studies Certificate, Bachelor of Theology) and three graduate programs (Masters of Divinity, Masters of Arts in Theology, Masters of Theology). The FTE is one of only three accredited evangelical educational institutions in Quebec and it serves the church in the greater Montreal area by training men and women for ministry and post-graduate theological studies. The province of Quebec in eastern Canada is in great need of well-trained ministers from every walk of life in order to reach those in their midst. The Joshua Project estimates the number of evangelical Christians in Quebec to be less than 1%. The FTE’s mandate is to be a university-level training center that produces pastors, missionaries, and laborers serving God and neighbour in French Canada and to the ends of the earth. The FTE also exists to meet, by various means, the local church’s need for education and training. You can find out more at fteacadia.com (mostly in French). The FTE receives its accreditation from Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
Gifts can be sent via check or money order made payable to MNA. Ministry or church plant names should be clearly designated with a note accompanying the check or money order.
