Abilene PCA is a new church planting work of the North Texas Presbytery and Southwest Church Planting Network to establish the first PCA congregation in Abilene, TX.
Our roots are in this community. We started as a core group of three families who saw Abilene’s need for a new church that affirms the Bible’s authority over all our lives and reaches our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire to see a multi-generational and diverse community of believers and skeptics who come seeking answers to the great questions of life.
In 2025, we called Robert Hasler to be our pastor. He is married to Kirsten and together they have four children. Robert grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs and is a graduate of Hillsdale College (B.A.) and Covenant Theological Seminary (M. Div.). He has over seven years of ministry experience in various ministry contexts and also serves as a chaplain in the United States Army Reserve.
