Abel Sisco – Grace Vancouver Church, Vancouver, BC

God has been gracious to put us in a position to serve Vancouver.  We would be honored to have you as part of our team in prayer, financial support, or both!  Vancouver is a strategic global city.  In the near footprint of the church building, roughly one half of the people speak English as a second language, and the same percentage are moving in and out, as there is around 50% turnover in the population every 5 years.  We will be working with Rev. Dr. Mike and Tanya Hsu, whom we have known for over 20 years.  Abel helped Mike plant a church in Lincoln, NE in 2000.  Mike has been at Grace Vancouver—a 20 year old PCA congregation—with his family for 8 years.  Abel will be the Music and Discipleship director.  Misha is looking forward to helping the family transition to another country and culture while serving the church and city as the Lord leads.  

Our needs are great, and the Lord has already graciously provided!  We are praying for financial supporters to make a 5 year commitment.  As it stands now, we have the offer of a matching $25,000 gift.  Our total yearly needs will be $60,000 for the next 5 years, and an extra $20,000 in one time gifts for the first year expenses. To make this happen, we would need the equivalent of 25 more monthly givers at $100 per month.  Maybe God has put you in a position to be able to give more than this, or possibly less.  In any case, we are asking people to prayerfully petition God, and see if he would bless them to go on a minimum of 5 years with us on the journey.  For some, just the cost of a new streaming membership is right.  For all, we would ask that you prayerfully consider a monthly rhythm of giving, simply because it will serve to remind you to pray for us at least once a month.  We covet your prayer support and thank God for you as we seek to see God worshiped in every tongue and tribe as seen in Rev. 5:9-14, both here and in glory!
