TVP Rural Church Development – Pelton

Rural Church Development exists for the developing, encouraging, and resourcing rural churches in Southern Appalachia.

While the Church is going to the big places with our good resources, let’s not forget the little places. Good theology is not just for the urban and suburban throngs. Good theology is for sinner’s needing a Savior wherever they may dwell, be it a gated mansion or a gutted double-wide.  The Nowhere’s in this world are the Somewhere’s in God’s economy, and the Nobodies in this world are the Somebodies in His Kingdom.

Our vision is to live in a hub community and establish a satellite of three or more other communities to visit at least once per week where we will develop relationships, share Christ, start Bible studies, and look for potential leadership who will eventually plant churches in those communities.
